Forest Lighting’s parent company, MLS Co., Ltd. of Zhongshan, ranks among the top 10 LED manufacturers in the world. As Forest Lighting prepared to enter the US market, many elements of its brand were not optimized for the US market. Connector Branding led a combined team of executive management and consultants in developing a new brand platform featuring Forest Lighting’s value and contribution to sustainability because of its superior manufacturing capabilities and USA-based inventories. The new positioning was then expressed in a more appropriate evolution of the identity and a new tagline “Sustainable Illumination”.
The new brand was then transformed into a simple website with new copy, business papers, sales sheets, and tradeshow booth. Forest Lighting successfully launched in the US and has seen significant growth along with additional product introductions.
